"I went into it intending to put everything I've learned up to this point into it, but Momo-san is incredibly strong, and of course that's to be expected, but she's an opponent that I can't even begin to faze. But I'm glad that I was able to make my debut today and put all the power I have into facing Momo-san. I want to work hard to become stronger and grow even more. Thank you."

—I heard your mother was against you pursuing professional wrestling?

"Until this morning, she was against it, but she contacted me to say that she's actually coming to see me today. I don't think she'll understand yet, but I want to do my best to show her how well I'm doing and earn her approval."

--What are your goals?

"I have a very weak personality, so I want to get stronger and stronger through professional wrestling."

—Who are your role models or players you admire?

"My role model is Tam Nakano, and my idol is Utami Hayashishita. Tam is cute, strong, and very considerate, and I find her to be a very attractive wrestler. Utami has only been wrestling for a year, so she's still considered a rookie, but she's won a lot of belts and achieved great things, and I want to be like that too, so I look up to her."

—What is the pro wrestling ring like compared to the idol stage?

"It's really scary, fighting is scary, it hurts, and I have a lot of anxieties, but the audience is cheering me on so much that I want to do my best."

Riho's comment

—Your entrance theme music and costume have changed, haven't they?

"I was planning to take on the challenge using what I've been doing up until now, but I also felt that I needed to change something extra, so I decided to change my entrance music and costume, which are the most easily recognizable things, with the hope of making a fresh start."

--What was the Stardom ring like?

"To be honest, there are still some things I don't quite understand, but it was a lot of fun, and since I won the belt today, I think I need to become someone who can really compete at the center of things from now on."

Natsuko couldn't kick out, and Kagetsu won by pinfall. The champions won the Oedo Tai internship match and successfully defended their title for the first time

After the match, Kagetsu extended her hand to Natsuko for a handshake. However, Natsuko screamed and glared at Kagetsu. Then Kagetsu extended her hand to Hazuki for a handshake. Hazuki shook her hand. Finally, all six raised their hands in congratulations on their hard-fought match

Comments from the Kagetsu-gumi

Kagetsu: "I successfully defended my title for the first time. I'm exhausted. Personally, since it was a match between two Oedo Tai members, I was wondering how they would approach it, but it seems like they had a good connection and line of ties, and I was really happy that Natsuko came at me so aggressively. I wonder, I think the challengers are more interested in what we think than we are."

—What significance did having a match between fellow members of the Oedo Tai have for the future of the organization?

Miyagi: "That's right! Right now, it's to rebuild the Oedo Tai, which is ambiguous as a heel unit! That's the theme, as a heel unit!"

—Does this mean that the Oedo Tai isn't doing well right now?

Kagetsu: "Given the current situation, I think it's fine as long as the challenger thinks it's okay. We're not the ones who say or comment on anything. We're the champions, after all. We just have to accept it. So the real issue is what the opponent says and how the younger wrestlers act."

—The summer you won the belt for the first time also marked your first title defense. What was your first title defense like?

Natsu: "Oh man, it was so scary. So scary. It was so intense, my lip got cut. It was scary. But I think it was good that my first belt and first title defense was against Oedo Tai. Because if I went up against Oedo Tai first, there's nothing left to be afraid of, right? Yes. For my next title defense, I think I need to be a little more relaxed, like fixing my hair before the match or reapplying my lipstick. I need that kind of composure befitting a champion."

—I think today's summer was rather unremarkable

Natsu: "Huh?"

—Was that because you were scared?

Natsu: "I was nervous... I was nervous."

--Who's your next opponent?

Natsu: "Honestly, my stance hasn't changed much, but I don't want to have a title defense. I don't want to. I want to keep the belt. I don't want to lose it. Why is it that people who have a belt are always eager to have a title defense? Seriously. It's the same with Arisa Hoshiki who's fighting now, she even nominated herself to do one. If I didn't have to have title defenses, I could be champion forever, so I don't understand why I have to have them! But if I don't have title defenses, the organization won't be exciting, and if it's not exciting, I'll lose my job... so I'll have a title defense."

Kagetsu: "Well, if we're going to make a sequel, there's no point in saying this behind the scenes, but maybe we could take some from STARS and have the Oedo Tai members do it, and then have some other units that haven't been featured yet."

Hoshiki successfully defends her title

When Hoshiki extended his hand for a handshake, the screaming woman gave a salute. Hoshiki returned the gesture with a salute of his own. As he left the arena, Hoshiki screamed on top of the gate

Comment from Hoshiki

"How long did it last? 20 minutes? It went on for that long. I successfully defended my title for the fourth time. I'll say this with respect to everyone I've fought before, but his strength is incomparable. What is that guy? A monster? A human? Really? I can't believe it. His power is insane. His elbows weren't elbows, they were more like punches without gloves. He's incredibly powerful. But on the other hand, after fighting him today, I was wondering why, despite being so strong, he hasn't won the white belt yet, even though this is his fifth attempt. It's just that amazing. But I was also getting impatient and was trying to finish him off with a Shining Impact, and I was close to the ropes, so I got too hasty. That's one of my weaknesses. I don't know when the next one will be, but first there's 5★STAR. I'll focus on getting myself in shape for 5★STAR, and once I've settled down, I'd like to have another white belt match. Thank you."

Nakano: 2019, 5★STAR GP. This is my third time competing for the third consecutive year. 2019, 5★STAR GP, I want to show my love for pro wrestling and leave a lasting impression. Everyone, I'm going to make this the best summer ever, so please stick with me.
Hoshiki: 5★STAR "This is my first time competing in the GP, but I've never lost a singles match, so I want to go undefeated."
Iwatani: "I won last year. I'm going to win again this year and definitely get the singles belt... I'm aiming for the red belt, so I'm definitely going to win 5★STAR!"
Momo: "Have you all forgotten about me? I might be the one with the least momentum right now, but I want to win 5★STAR and regain a lot of momentum. I ask for your support. Also, one foreign wrestler has been removed from the lineup, hasn't he? Ogawa, what's happening with the other spot?"
Ring announcer Ando then announces that AZM will be entering the tournament, replacing Casey Owens.
AZM: "Everyone at Korakuen, did you hear that!? Did you hear that! I'm in my sixth year in the industry, but this is my first appearance! Since I'm here, I'm going to crush those old hags of the Red Stars, so please support me. Bea successfully defended her title today, so I'd like her to wrap things up, please."
Momo: "Okay everyone, please stand up. The 5★STAR GP is about to begin, but everyone is your enemy, so please support us! Please cheer us on. Believe in the present? Believe in tomorrow? It's up to you who you believe in!"

"Presley Bow down to the fucking queens!"

Priestley's comments

"Victory, number four. Utami is a friend of mine, but if she couldn't beat me, that means no one in Stardom can beat me. No one can beat me. It was certainly a hard fight. My next challenge is the 5☆STAR GP. I, standing before all of you here, am the winner of this year's 5☆STAR GP. (White belt champion) Arisa, be careful. I'm the top foreigner."

--What was it like to have two matches between fellow members of Queen's Quest?

"I wanted to fight Momo and Utami because I thought they were the wrestlers who truly represent Stardom. Utami has risen to the top in the past year. I wanted to wear this belt only after defeating her. Only by beating her now can I proudly say that I am the strongest."

--Do you think you've reached the top of Queen's Quest and Stardom through these two matches?

"Jesus"

—So that means you're also the leader of Queen's Quest?

"Yes. I beat the top two in Queen's Quest. I'm number one."

—As you know, Shimi has been in the industry for a year. What were you wary of about her, given the achievements she's made this past year?

"Utami is a future superstar, especially in Stardom. This match should be a test for her. But she won't give up this belt easily. It means she's not yet at the level to claim it."

—You had a one-on-one match in Nagoya, but are there any differences between that match and Utami now?

"I think both of us have grown since that match, not just Utami. We've both evolved in the last few months. I'm fighting more intensely now, and so is she. In order to become top wrestlers."

—What kind of situation would you like to face off against Shimi next time?

"I hope the situation isn't the same as this time. I don't want to ruin my relationship with Utami. But Utami's presence will be an obstacle in the 5☆STAR GP. What happens here is something we'll have to wait and see."

--Your next goal is the 5☆STAR GP, and you'll be competing as the red belt champion

"I'm going into this as the strongest, so I don't care who my opponent is. I'll win the 5☆STAR GP and then nominate my next challenger. That's why I haven't thought about who my next challenger will be at this point."

—As you're competing as the champion, you'll also be burdened with the responsibilities that come with being the champion

"Of course. It's a big responsibility. If I lose, it will be very painful. But I won't lose. Bea Priestley won't get pinned and won't give up. I'll seize this opportunity."

Comment from Utami

—It's been just one year since your debut, and this is your first time challenging for the red belt, as well as the white belt—both of Stardom's major championships

"Yes. First of all, I am very honored to have been able to challenge for Stardom's top belt at such an important time in my first year since my debut. I lost today, but just because I lost doesn't mean I'm susceptible to the sophomore slump. Rather, I want to get revenge at 5☆STAR and advance to the finals this year and win the championship."

--This is the first time you've lost in a singles match against a foreigner

"Yes, I had a pretty good win rate against foreigners, but I still couldn't beat Bea, the strongest foreigner in Queen's Quest. But Bea was incredibly strong, and even though I lost, I was actually happy, and I was glad to be a part of Queen's Quest with these members."

--Bee said she was the leader of Queen's Quest

"We don't have a leader. We do have a strategist, though. The strategist is AZM-senpai. But Bee is like the mother figure of Queen's Quest, so in a way, we'd be in trouble if she were gone, so maybe she could be considered the leader."

—You debuted around this time last year. Looking back on this past year..

"This past year has been full of experiences, from my debut match to my first win, first loss, injury and absence, my comeback match, and winning the belt. I feel like I've experienced almost everything I could possibly want to, it's been a really eventful year, and it went by in a flash, and it might have been hectic, but in my second year and beyond, I want to continue moving forward without letting my momentum stop."

--Last year, you qualified for the 5☆STAR GP after your debut match and achieved better results than expected. I think you'll be expected to achieve even better results in this 5☆STAR GP

"Yes, that's right. Last year I was just making my debut, but I was able to reach the finals, so I've grown considerably this past year. I'm aiming for the championship, and of course I'm confident I'll win."
